13 Mar Years 11 and 12 Exam Block (Term 1 2018)
Friday, 23 to Thursday, 29 March at the Middle and Secondary Campus
The Years 11 and 12 Exam Block will be conducted over five days this semester from Friday, 23 to Thursday, 29 March. Most students are only required to attend for examinations (timetable). Students will have the option to go home on study leave when not in exams, pending parental consent (via Parent Lounge). Students must sign in at Student Services if arriving late, and sign out if departing early. Students who have not exhibited successful study skills will not be given study leave. Parents will be notified via email and these students will be expected to be present at the College during normal school hours to enable them to study.
Students remaining at the College will have access to the Resource Centre as a supervised place to study. Students electing to stay at the College will be required to abide by normal College routines and may not leave the College grounds for any reason, including to get lunch.
In accordance with Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority guidelines, a medical certificate must be provided should a student be absent for an examination. To limit distractions to others, students arriving more than ten minutes late will not be admitted to the test room. All students are required to wear their full formal uniform.
Please indicate via Parent Lounge, whether your child has permission to leave the College early on study leave. A timetable will be made available to students soon.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Christine Thomas (Head of Year 12) or Mr Pasa Alyuz (Head of Year 11) by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
