Our Journey Through the Decades
Since our founding in 1985, Brisbane Christian College has been dedicated to providing a Christ-centered education that fosters both academic excellence and spiritual growth. Over the past 40 years, we have expanded to three campuses, each serving as a beacon of learning and faith. From our humble beginnings, we’ve achieved numerous milestones, including the establishment of innovative programs, the construction of state-of-the-art facilities, and the nurturing of countless students who have gone on to make a positive impact in the world. 1985
Southside Christian College
109 Golda Avenue The College was opened by Pastor Chris Peterson on a renovated industrial site with 12 staff. From the very beginning the school was a partnership between parents and the church who wanted to give their children a high quality Christian education.
2005
Primary Campus
109 Golda Avenue, Salisbury The College originally started on this site which now hosts our Primary School Campus for students from Prep to Year 5 across three streams.
2010
Pre-Prep Centre
28 Rookwood Avenue, Coopers Plains The Pre-Prep Centre opened in March 2010 to meet the local need for an educational play-based program along with leading facilities, colourful outdoor play area and christian worldview.
2016
Middle and Secondary Campus
63 Fairlie Terrace, Salisbury In 2016, Brisbane Christian College opened the Middle and Secondary Campus on Fairlie Terrace after the successful purchase of the former Nyanda State High School campus. Years 6-12 students enjoy this bushland campus that is conveniently located just a few minutes from our Primary School Campus and Pre-Prep Centre.
2026
Middle School Precinct
63 Fairlie Terrace, Salisbury With a proposed launch date of 2026, the new Middle School Precinct is an exciting and purpose-built educational development offering eleven generous-sized classrooms and multiple large outdoor learning spaces. Nestled amongst the harmonious surroundings of our bushland campus, this precinct will strengthen our already spacious campus while increasing opportunities for the entire Middle and Secondary College and effectively position us for our future years.
