One of our College core values is ‘developing dynamic relationships’. The foundation of all relationships is being together. At Brisbane Christian College, we have the privilege of having children from Years 6 – 12 together on the Middle & Secondary campus.
I wanted to share this wonderful note from one of our College Chaplains, Saskia Hill.
“When I was sitting with some Year 7 students on the balcony, we were chatting and watching nearby students playing soccer.
It was so beautiful to watch Year 6 through to Year 12 students all playing together.
I felt to share this moment of our community connecting together, being inclusive and encouraging each other. For our new Year 6 children to feel safe with the ‘bigger kids’ by Week 2 is incredible.
I thank Jesus for our community and for the love and leadership in our College”.
Together, our children are ‘developing dynamic relationships’, which is a wonderful thing to witness. The ongoing benefits of healthy relationships across these age groups are something we value and nurture for our children. We are looking forward to next week when our Year 12 students will visit our Primary children, investing time into developing relationship with them.
We invite you to join us in praying that healthy relationships continue to flourish at Brisbane Christian College.
