We wanted to say a big thank you to all the sponsors, staff, parents, and volunteers who made Brisbane Life Festival 2023 such an amazing day. The atmosphere was so joyful and positive, and everyone got into the spirit of things.
Brisbane Life Festival is always a chance for students to break free from their routines and immerse themselves in an array of creativity, talent, and pure enjoyment.
There were captivating performances starting with the concert band, violinists, African Drums, and elegant choirs. It was wonderful to see new faces performing solos in the busking tent and vocalists growing in their confidence and using their beautiful gifts and talents to bless the community. It really did showcase the amazing talent we have here at Brisbane Christian College.
We would also like to thank Pastor Allan Kelly and Ruby for the inspirational show with their horses that captivated crowds!
As a blessing to the community, we tried to make the day as affordable as possible and provided free entertainment including the petting zoo, activities from My First Gym, art gallery and the very popular Marble Run. We also provided our first 500 sausage sizzle orders for free!
Thanks to your generosity, we were also able to donate funds toward the Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) Flying School Bus campaign which provides education to students in remote areas of Australia.
All other remaining funds raised from Brisbane Life Festival contribute to the long-term impact and development of Brisbane Christian College, providing our children and the generations to come with spaces to learn, create and ‘Aspire to excellence’. You can read more about our future projects through our annual Building Together Fund campaign.
Every school has a Fair, and I am so pleased that ours is not just a Fair, but also an outreach to the community and support to local charities and businesses. What a blessing it is to partner together for a greater purpose! Thank you for serving our community, you truly do make it a better place.
If you have any feedback, creative ideas, or testimonies from the day we would love to hear from you.
