Our robust co-curricular program helps students develop skills and resilience that are essential to success. Every child is encouraged to participate and ‘give it a go’. Our students learn to never give up and develop a ‘can do’ attitude as a part of their team.

Sport

Sport plays an important role in developing the whole child with many opportunities presented. Primary gymnastics, AFL, tennis, inter-school sport, swimming lessons and inter-College carnivals competing in athletics, swimming and cross country are a few of the opportunities available.

Music

Ongoing research has identified learning a musical instrument as one of the best brain development activities as it uses the whole brain and strengthens the connections between the left and right sides. Studies have also indicated that it can help a child to develop spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and academically at a faster rate.

Art Club

Brisbane Christian College has a passion for creativity and we offer an Art Club for Middle and Secondary School students run during lunchtimes. This includes many fun and exciting projects such as; mosaics, clay, drawing, painting and more. Parents will get to enjoy a beautiful display of our students’ hard work in an exhibition to be held each year.

Outdoor Education And Camps

Students have many opportunities for outdoor learning by participating in the ‘Dukes’ program, camps and trips such as the annual Outback Queensland Tour and Snow Trip.

Primary Gymnastics Lessons

Primary School students have enjoy the adventure of getting out of the class for their weekly gymnastics lessons each week. Brisbane Christian College is partnering with Robertson Gymnastics, the facilities used by some of Brisbane’s leading gymnasts,to provide our Primary School students with thirty minute classes each week.
