Brisbane Christian College Kindergarten (Pre-Prep) is a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten (child care Brisbane). The purpose built Pre-Prep Centre in Coopers Plains is part of the Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program and offers an educational play-based program for children three years* to school age with engaging high-tech facilities and a spacious, exciting outdoor play area.

Our Pre-Prep Centre offers:

Head of Pre-Prep

At Pre-Prep, your child will be valued, loved and supported in a safe, challenging and supportive environment that encourages participation and enables them to begin their learning journey. The Pre-Prep team value play as an important learning instrument, which they implement into their teaching. Play is intrinsically motivating, promotes learning and enables children to gain further skills that will assist their physical, emotional, cognitive and social development.

The Pre-Prep children have access to a wide range of learning resources. Learning experiences implemented cater for visual, kinaesthetic, auditory, experiential and cooperative learners. Staff believe in talking with children to assist in developing an understanding of the whole child to better support, encourage and extend their learning. Parents play an integral role in their child’s education and staff establish and maintain communication. This learner centred approach increases children’s motivation and self-confidence to become life-long learners.

Kindergarten Approved Program

All enrolments are administered through the Brisbane Christian College Office by the College Registrar at 63 Fairlie Terrace, Salisbury. Office hours are 8.00am to 4.00pm.

Parents are encouraged to attend a Pre-Prep tour and are offered the opportunity for an informal enrolment chat with the Head of Primary prior to submitting application forms.
