New Middle School Precinct Building
We are pleased to share an exciting new development on the Middle and Secondary Campus with the proposed build of our new Middle School precinct. Perched on the edge of the oval near the existing M block and Canteen, the new Middle School precinct will incorporate peaceful views of the oval ringed by lush trees. This exciting new learning space will enable our Middle School children to flourish in modern, purpose-built rooms designed to encourage student engagement and facilitate research-based teaching methods. This upcoming build will complement our existing facilities that God blessed us with on the Middle and Secondary Campus.
The College Board and CLT have been working with our College team, Phillips Smith Conwell (PSC) architects, local, state and federal government departments to plan and develop the Middle School precinct for our community. This 3000 sqm development aims to be operational during the 2026 academic year.
Offering eleven generous-sized classrooms and multiple large outdoor learning spaces, the new Middle School precinct will intentionally accommodate small group work and the differentiated Targeted Teaching model, which is a core teaching method within the Middle School. The new facilities include two purpose-built Science laboratories that will enhance the Middle School Science curriculum without putting pressure on our existing Science laboratories.
Resulting from a successful 20-year relationship with our architects, PSC have identified this build as their annual passion project to which they will commit extra time and skills. Due to the enriching collaboration with our team and the outstanding location and vista, PSC has committed to designing an exceptional educational precinct and learning spaces.
Reflecting our heart to reach others, the new Middle School precinct will allow the College to progress from three to four classes per year group over the coming years. This will provide increased opportunity for more children to join our College and to experience the life giving message of Jesus. While always maintaining the College commitment for each child to be ‘known by name’, increasing our Year 7-12 cohorts by one additional class will improve the diversity of subjects on offer and the co-curricular engagement opportunities available to all Middle and Secondary children.
The new Middle School development will be an exciting and purpose-built educational precinct nestled amongst the harmonious surroundings of our bushland campus. Strengthening our already spacious campus while increasing opportunities for the entire Middle and Secondary School campus, the upcoming development will effectively position the College for our future years.
