Brisbane Christian College is a growing, innovative Pre-Prep to Year 12 Christian College. The College currently employs over one hundred and forty staff in a full-time, part-time or casual capacity, and is responsible for over 1090 students over three campuses.

The College employs passionate Christian professionals who have a sense of God’s call upon their lives to reach young people for Jesus in an educational community. Staff bring innovation and creativity to our community, where teaching and other positions are a calling and not a job.

Learning Intervention Teacher Assistant (Primary School)

  • work with individuals and small groups of Primary School children to assist them in their learning
  • assist teachers by adding an extra layer of in-class support to children who may need extra assistance
  • assist in promoting the Christ-like values of the College and maintaining excellence in all aspects of education.

Maths Teacher Assistant (Middle School)

Brisbane Christian College invites applicants with experience who can support students in their study of Mathematics. A desire to work with students in both small rotation groups and the general classroom is essential.

Specific Requirements, Qualifications, Certifications and Work-related Experience:

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills to support the Year 6 to Year 8 curriculum
  • Cert IV in Education Support and prior experience preferred
  • Demonstrated competence and confidence in using a computer/iPad and relevant software packages, e.g., Microsoft Office Package
  • Although not essential, knowledge and prior use of an Administration package (TASS) and the College Learning Management System (Schoolbox) would be advantageous.

School Bus Driver

The College is seeking to secure an experienced and qualified Christian bus driver to join its transport team. The successful applicant must possess a strong work ethic, experience in guiding children and a proven ability to think and work independently.

A Light Rigid (LR) driver’s licence is essential, and a Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence is desirable. The successful applicant must hold a current Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children Check) and fully support the Christian ethos of the College as per the documents included in the application form, which is available on the College’s website.
