As a MInistry of Life Church, Brisbane Christian College is dedicated to staying mission-true to its founders as a Christ-centred community that honours Jesus Christ in all we do. It is a thriving learning centre that caters for children from Pre-Prep to Year 12 and nurtures over 1,200 young learners on three campuses.

Brisbane Christian College is committed to safe and supportive work practices. Maths & Science Teacher (contract position), commencing July 2025
Brisbane Christian College is seeking to appoint an exceptional, experienced Math and Science Teacher for a leave contract from July to December 2025 who:
- aligns with the culture and values of Brisbane Christian College, and has
- a proven track record and a growth mindset to inspire children to reach their God-given potential as we minister in an era of innovation, creativity and servant leadership
- an ability to shape a Christ-centred culture within our community
- the desire to connect with students through involvement in co-curricular activities.

Instrumental Music & Choral Tutor: Cello
The College is seeking to appoint an Instrumental Music Tutor for Cello to join our dedicated instrumental music tutoring team. A strong teaching background would be considered an advantage.
Details are:
- Approximately half a day of available lessons, with potential for growth
- The position is a subcontracted role and involves teaching private music lessons.
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a current Blue Card (Queensland’s Working with Children Check) or be a teacher registered with QCT and be able to fully support the Christian ethos of the College
- Have experience and qualifications to teach their instrument to an intermediate level
- Have experience teaching Primary and High School-aged students, both in individual and small group lessons
- Be able to inspire and motivate students at differing levels of ability and implement appropriate adjustments and differentiation where required
- Show willingness and ability to support and attend the College’s music events and activities
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with leadership teams, other Instrumental Tutors and Primary and Secondary Music Teachers to ensure the smooth running of the program
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with parents, students and other staff members.

School Bus Drivers
The College is seeking to secure experienced and qualified Christian bus drivers to join its transport team for morning and afternoon school bus runs in school terms. These positions are for a minimum of 21 hours per week, and extra hours are available for additional events.
The ideal candidate will:
- have experience in guiding children
- be a dependable worker with a positive nature
- have a high commitment to best practice and personal learning
- demonstrate an ability to think and work independently
- fully support the Christian ethos of the College.
Essential qualifications are:
- a Light Rigid (LR) driver’s licence. A Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence is desirable.
- a current Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children Check)
- a current Industry Authority card.
Position type: Casual employment, $35.29/hour, 21+ hours per week

Relief Teachers and Teacher Assistants: Pre-Prep, Primary, Middle and Secondary School
The College is seeking to recruit relief Teachers and relief Teacher Assistants across the three campuses of the College: Pre-Prep (Kindy), Primary School (Prep to Year 5) and Middle & Secondary School (Years 6 to 12). The successful applicants will hold a current Queensland College of Teacher Registration or a blue card for working with children, and will be able to fully support the Christian ethos of the College.
